Abigail Taunyane is the Event Manager for The Future of Mining Summit, Botswana’s largest mining conference and premier thought leadership platform organized by The Projects Magazine. She also serves as the Commercial Partnerships Manager at The Projects Magazine, Botswana’s leading mining and infrastructure publication. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business – Marketing and has professional experience spanning mining, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, sales, and client relationship management. Abigail has worked with organisations including Gemological Institute of America and Pula Medical Aid, where she built expertise in strategic communications, business development, and customer experience. Passionate about women’s participation in industry, she is committed to advancing conversations around inclusion, empowerment, and leadership within the mining sector.
