Dr. Onalenna B. Ntonge

Dr. Onalenna B. Ntonge is a dedicated healthcare professional and the Head of Medical Services at MedRescue International ( MRI), a member of the Abovax Group of Companies. Dr Ntonge leads with extensive experience in clinical leadership, occupational health, emergency medicine, and corporate healthcare services. She is certified in Advanced International Trauma Life Support (AITLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), demonstrating strong expertise in emergency and critical care management.

Dr. Ntonge is a Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner with a strong focus on workplace wellness, risk management, and preventive healthcare strategies across corporate and mining sectors. In addition, she is a qualified Travel Medicine and Vaccination Practitioner, providing specialized guidance on international travel health, immunization programs, and disease prevention. She is the resident doctor for SANDFIRE Motheo Copper Mine, AMS and Laurelton Diamonds whilst ensuring robust design of programs in occupational and clinical support for organisations such as DTCB and Bank of Botswana to name a few.

With a passion for quality healthcare delivery, operational excellence, and patient-centered care, Dr. Ntonge continues to play a key role in strengthening occupational and emergency medical services in Botswana and beyond. Dr Ntonge is passionate about strengthening Botswana’s knowledge base through coaching and mentoring towards achieving Botswana’s shared prosperity and economic diversification.
