Meet Our Speaker: Mr. Thapelo Mfosi

Mr. Thapelo Mfosi is a dedicated and versatile compliance professional with a robust academic background in Business Studies and Marketing. He has amassed valuable work experience across various industries, including FMCG, petroleum, retail, and consultancy. Known for maintaining focus in high-pressure environments, Thapelo consistently meets challenges head-on, effectively managing and completing multiple tasks within tight deadlines.

Currently, Thapelo serves as the Head of Marketing, Sales, and Distribution at Tongaat Hulett Botswana, a position he has held since November 2021. Alongside this role, he also works as a part-time Convenience Retail Consultant for Gildhall & Petrohyper. His previous experience includes serving as the Convenience Retail & Marketing Manager at Puma Energy Botswana from November 2017 to October 2021, and Channel Marketing Manager at Kgalagadi Breweries (AB InBev Local Operations) from November 2014 to October 2017.

Thapelo's earlier roles at Kgalagadi Breweries include Sales Manager (April 2010 to October 2014), Sales Representative (May 2007 to March 2010), and Marketing Intern (April 2005 to September 2005). He also has experience as a Public Relations Intern at the Botswana International Financial Services Centre (November 2006 to April 2007) and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Botswana (August 2006 to November 2006). Additionally, he interned as a Recording Officer at the Council Chamber in Kgatleng District Council from April 2004 to September 2004.
