Overview
The Pitso will feature the official opening ceremony on 22 August 2024 in the morning; presentations from guests speakers and presentations from policy makers, financial institutions, mindset change experts, presentations from SADC Women in Mining organisations and mining service providers over the two days.

WiMBO is the first and only membership organization for women in Botswana which brings together women from diverse backgrounds. Therefore, the Pitso offers networking opportunities as it bring together these different professionals from the mining businesses; the Pitso offers inspiration and empowerment, as insights by accomplished leaders will be shared; if offers advocacy and change as the conference will address gender diversity and inclusion issues within the mining sector; attendees will stay informed because the mining industry is dynamic and rapidly evolving so attending offers one an opportunity to stay up-to-date.
